Residential rehabilitation in Glasgow

The Scottish Residential Service offers a structured programme for people recovering from alcohol or drug problems. Residents live in a therapeutic community, taking part in individual support, group work and the running of the house. Stays generally last between three and six months.

The Glasgow service has single rooms with accessible en-suite facilities. It generally supports adults aged 18 and over. The team assesses each person’s needs and suitability before admission.

Medically supervised detoxification is available subject to assessment and specific criteria. Ask the referral team what can be provided in your circumstances.

Referrals can come through local authorities and Health and Social Care Partnerships. Self-funded placements and referrals through the Prison to Rehab pathway are also accepted. Ask about funding and admission arrangements before making plans.
