It is a way to speak to someone about what is happening, ask questions and discuss the support available to you. You can also ask about alcohol services in your area.
Worried about withdrawal?
If you drink heavily every day, shake or feel ill without alcohol, or have had withdrawal before, do not suddenly stop without medical advice. Alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous and can be fatal.
