I have been drinking again for a while

If you are drinking heavily every day, get shakes or feel ill without alcohol, or have had withdrawal before, do not suddenly stop or sharply reduce your drinking without medical advice. Withdrawal can be fatal.

Contact your GP or alcohol service. If you need urgent medical help and your GP is closed, call NHS 24 on 111.
